The Pinawa and Blue Water Trail system is about the transition between the Canadian Shield and the Prairies. It is about the Winnipeg River and the boreal forest and the mammals, birds, and fish that thrive there. It is about a diverse people, their cultural heritage, and the small towns and country-side we call home. Its about dams, agriculture, and logging. It is about living on the edge of the wilderness. It is about an interesting past and an exciting future.

These trails are designed for walking, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, and horseback riding. Snowmobilers also use portions of them. We wish to extend to you a warm invitation to come on out and explore!
